Join us in a spirited endeavor to bolster the Bruny Island SES volunteers and various local charities. Our event is not only a fundraiser but also a beacon of awareness for Autism.
Annually, we welcome approximately 600 participants from diverse backgrounds, including individuals, educational institutions, families, corporate teams, and running clubs. We encourage youth participation, with children aged 10 and above invited to join, accompanied by an adult.
Our event stands unique in Tasmania, offering an exhilarating 64km ultra-marathon for solo runners and a relay option for teams of up to 10 members. The journey begins at Dennes Point and culminates at the iconic Cape Bruny Lighthouse.
Participants set off at staggered times, with the earliest solo runners embarking at 4:00 am, aiming for a collective finish by 2:30 pm. Celebrations and accolades follow at Hotel Bruny in Alonnah at 3:15 pm.
We proudly acknowledge our major sponsor, Crotty Legal/Dental, alongside the invaluable support from Ultra Tasmania Inc, The Running Edge, and the Tasmanian Road Runners.
