The course starts at Dennes Point in the Northern end of the island and runs the length of the island finishing at Cape Bruny lighthouse in the South.
The runners all start at different times, with some of the solo runners starting as early as 4:30am and all runners aiming to finish by 2:30pm in the same day. Presentations are at the hotel Bruny at Alonnah at 3:15pm.
The event’s major sponsor is Crotty Legal/Dental, with support from Ultra Tasmania Inc, The Running Edge and the Tasmanian Road Runners.
