Earliest start time is 4.00am.
Maximum run time limit is 10.5 hours.
Solo Runners must have at least one support crew.

Run on the right at all times, follow instruction of the SES Marshals, no iPods etc, and wear light coloured clothing if possible.
Its important to keep in mind that the event takes place on an island. The beautiful wilderness that you will enjoy is offset by a lack of supermarkets and shops.
Be sure to bring everything you need with you, just in case.
Yes, children from 10 - 17 years of age are allowed to participate in the event. But must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Individuals aged 18 and above (on race day) are deemed to be adults.
Check out Roady's training guide on our website.
We run the event regardless of the weather. Be sure to pack for all conditions.
We don't issue race bibs. It's a waste of plastic and bad for the environment. On the day solo runners are issued a timing chip to wear on their person for the duration of the event. Relay teams are issued a batton with the timing chip attached.
We ask that participants return the chips and battons to an official at the finish line.
No dogs are permitted on the course, including inside vehicles.
The event traverses through a National Park and as a general rule, dogs and other pets are not allowed into Tasmania's national parks and reserves. This is for a number of reasons, but it is primarily to protect our native wildlife. These areas provide refuge for many species that are rare, endangered or endemic to Tasmania.
You can read more about it here.
The event tends to sell out quickly due to safety regulations and restrictions from the National Park. However, we maintain a waiting list. If you'd like to be added, please email us at brunyrun@gmail.com.
We also recommend following us on facebook, where participants occasionally post if they are looking to transfer their registration.
